Hello there and welcome to the Angry Birds Wiki! It has come to our staff's attention that the "Angry Birds Universe Wiki" is now redirecting to this current wiki. We believe it was due to some of our blocked user's ban evading to the Universe Wiki, the wiki's unclear line between official and fanon (fan made) content and/or plagiarizing articles from this current wiki, but the full reason(s) are not yet confirmed.

In the meantime, you are free to look around and edit articles that either need expansion, have grammatical mistakes, are using outdated/deleted templates (check if the template was moved without a redirect and replace the old template with the newer version) or more! About

The Angry Birds Universe Wiki was a wiki for the Angry Birds series which was infamous known for being a copy of the Angry Birds Wiki. On January 26th-27th, 2022, it closed for good due to the Fandom staff catching the attention of the wiki and told the admin that his wiki had relatively low activity and visitor numbers on December 29th, 2021, it then became a candidate for closure and on January 11th/12th, 2022, The anonymous editing was turned off because the lack of ongoing moderation and the somewhat kid-oriented topic.

History

The wiki was founded on November 19, 2018 by V-Star1 at 02:49 but the admin then edited the wiki and became an admin on the wiki while V-Star1 didn’t edit as much as Kiddiecraft. During the history of the wiki, it copied some of the articles from the main Angry Birds Wiki to Angry Birds Universe Wiki, for example, the page about Angry Birds Space on the Universe wiki was copied from an old version of the Angry Birds Space page on the main wiki. However, on December 29th, 2021, the Fandom staff caught attention of this wiki and told the admin that his wiki had relatively low activity and visitor numbers, it then became a candidate for closure. Here was the message that was sent to the admin on that day.

“Kirkburn from Fandom Support here. It has come to our attention that this wiki essentially duplicates the topic of the main Angry Bird Wiki (angrybirds.fandom.com) - and, given the relatively low activity and visitor numbers, is a candidate for closure. If you disagree with this, please let us know why in a reply. Is there something this wiki does that the other wiki cannot?”

On January 11th/12th, 2022, The anonymous editing was turned off because the lack of ongoing moderation and the somewhat kid-oriented topic. Another message was sent on that day which was as followed:

"Given the lack of ongoing moderation, and the somewhat kid-oriented topic, I am turning off anonymous editing on this wiki. As noted above, this wiki is a candidate for closure - but we'd really like to discuss this further with you."

On January 26th/27th, 2022, the wiki closed and now redirects to the Angry Birds Wiki. The wiki still exists, but it currently shows a closed wiki screen.

Reception

The wiki was panned by most people while barely anyone praised it except for the admin and his friend. Kiddiecraft however later admitted that his wiki was bad.

Trivia

• The logo for the wiki before it closed had Classic Red and a Classic Minion Pig in their Angry Birds POP! designs with a Movie Red on the Universe text and a Movie Silver on the Wiki text.
• The main editor of the wiki who was Kiddiecraft still edits the main Angry Birds Wiki to this day.
• The style of the wiki was similar to the Transformers Wiki’s.
• The wiki had it's own Twitter account which is still up.
• The wiki once lied about the Angry Birds Wiki “closing down”.
• The admin only focused on movie things on the Angry Birds Universe Wiki while leaving classic-based pages abandoned.
